Select Contracts have been employed to establish study and master plan for an exceptional 1,142-hectare site in Cartagena, on the Caribbean coastline of Colombia. The project will include a complete market study of the area as well as a conceptual master plan, renderings and a 10-year business plan for the development. At the end of the first phase, the aim will be to identify the various individual elements which will best suit the location from an investment and tourism perspective and to identify potential boutique resort operators. The site is also beautifully placed to accommodate a championship golf course with residential villas.

Colombia is a vibrant country with an incredible array of flora, fauna and together with a warm, friendly and vibrant population it makes for a fantastic travel destination. Colombia is now emerging as an exciting and safe destination for tourists, with plenty of travel connections from continental America. Cartagena’s colonial walled city and fortress were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980. With the beautiful Caribbean coastline, the lush countryside, temperate climate and the walled city, Cartagena as a result, now sees a rapid increase in tourism arrivals and welcomes visitors from across the world on a year round basis.
