Feature Project: mixed-use destination Krakatoa Nirwana Resort on Sumatra. The client is a very large group of companies in Indonesia that wanted an international leisure company to develop a mixed-use destination that would focus on the international market. A 400-acre development that will include 2 hotels (in phase 1), residential, marina, Nick Faldo designed golf course, water park, commercial area, airport and a port. This mix of attractions will provide the correct mix for both domestic and international tourists visiting the country. A 130-room hotel (100 hotel rooms & 30 boutique villas) on the beach with a large conference facility, pools, restaurants, bars, spa & a water sports pier. A 100-berth marina with shops, restaurants and condos around. An 18 hole Nick Faldo designed golf course with villas surrounding the course. A commercial strip of shops and offices for companies to be based on site. A landing strip for private jets and a small port to commence a new ferry crossing between the islands.
